Ciao my name is Damiano. 

Originally from Rome and now based on the Gold Coast, Australia, I work with independent artists, bands and songwriters to help prepare their music for its final stages — mixing and mastering.

I come from a musician’s background, having spent years writing, recording and producing my own music. Along the way, I’ve experienced both great and disappointing outcomes when working with producers and engineers, which shaped how I approach my work today. My focus is always on serving the song, respecting the artist’s vision, and making sure the process feels considered and worthwhile.

I’m particularly interested in the bigger picture of a project — how performances, tone and balance translate once a track moves toward mixing and mastering. I aim for clarity, emotional impact, and results that feel intentional rather than overworked.

While my work today is centred on mixing, mastering and sound preparation, my experience as a guitarist and bassist helps me communicate easily with artists and understand what makes a performance feel right. That musical background informs every decision I make.

I mainly work across Rock, Indie, Folk and Pop, and I collaborate with artists locally and internationally.
